Accor, in partnership with Invel Real Estate and Prodea Investments, announces the signing of the Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo, which will form part of the Emblems collection. Scheduled to open in 2026, this hotel will add a new dimension to luxury hospitality in the Italian Alps.

A new landmark for luxury hotels

The Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo, part of the Emblems collection, will mark the brand’s first venture into Italy.

Located in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the Dolomites, the hotel is part of an ambitious project to transform a historic building into a luxury destination. Scheduled to open in 2026, the hotel will offer 80 rooms, including 27 suites with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

“The Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo perfectly embodies the essence of the Emblems brand: refined and exclusive hospitality, where luxury and intimacy come together. Nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, this new destination is a real source of pride for us, as it harmoniously combines luxury and nature, emotion and experience. I would like to sincerely thank Invel Real Estate and Prodea Investments for their confidence in this magnificent project.” – Maud Bailly, Managing Director of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems

A unique and sustainable approach

The architecture of the Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo combines Alpine elegance with a contemporary influence, with a design by Tihany Design. Local materials, such as Bianco Antico stone, and the use of wood and marble echo the natural environment of the Dolomites.

The project also stands out for its commitment to eco-design, incorporating energy-efficient construction practices in line with the Accor Group’s sustainability standards.

Facilities tailored to the needs of the modern mountaineer

The hotel will offer a 500 m² wellness centre, with areas dedicated to relaxation, including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, as well as treatment rooms.

In addition, the F&B offering will include spaces such as the Bellevue terrace, and a main restaurant offering a superior culinary experience.

A symbol of contemporary Alpine hospitality

The Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo will embody the evolution of Alpine hospitality, combining luxury, heritage and innovation. With its privileged location in the heart of the Dolomites, this hotel is set to become a future landmark in one of the most prestigious areas of the Italian Alps.

This project will help to strengthen the presence of Accor’s Emblems collection in Europe, with the recent announcement of another opening in Greece.

‘Cortina d’Ampezzo is the ideal location for Italy’s first Emblems Collection hotel – an emblem of heritage, prestige and natural beauty. More than just a luxury hotel, this project is a landmark that redefines Alpine hospitality, offering an unrivalled experience in one of Europe’s most iconic mountain resorts. With two Emblems properties planned in Southern Europe and several contracts under negotiation, we are setting a new benchmark in the region.’ – Paul Rosenberg, Regional Vice-President, Luxury Brand Development, France, Southern Europe and North Africa
