Cheval Collection is nearing 1,000 units across its existing 14 properties and continues to expand through management contracts. The company plans to further grow its portfolio, with multiple projects set for announcement in 2025.
Continued expansion with new openings
Cheval Collection is on track to exceed 950 units by the time Cheval Maison – Expo City Dubai opens in March 2025. Since the launch of its Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison property in London in 2021, the company has added more than 500 units.
This growth highlights the group’s ongoing commitment to expanding its serviced apartment offering globally.
The group’s expansion strategy focuses on management contracts, and discussions are actively underway to expand further, with properties expected to be announced later this year.
In addition to the upcoming Dubai property, Cheval Collection is also planning to debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027 with Cheval Ladun Living.
Attracting investors and guests
Daniel Johansson, Director of Development and Acquisitions at Cheval Collection, said, “The serviced apartment sector is now firmly in the mainstream for investors considering a move into hospitality. Our brands offer luxury products with efficient operations; the best of both worlds for owners looking to enter or expand in the sector.”
He also pointed out that the flexibility of serviced apartments appeals to guests looking for high-end accommodations, whether for business or leisure: “The expansion in the market, combined with our reputation of more than 45 years’ owning and operating serviced apartments, means we are having conversations in dynamic locations around the world.”
First to join GHA Discovery
In a significant move for the brand, Cheval Collection has become the first serviced apartment operator in Europe to join the Global Hotel Alliance’s (GHA) loyalty programme, GHA Discovery.
“We believe that serviced apartments are being considered in the same space as hotels by both owners and guests, and being part of a loyalty programme means that we can offer everything which goes along with that. The programme will reward guests, but also create another route for feedback, ensuring that we can continue to improve our offering.” – Daniel Johansson, Director of Development and Acquisitions at Cheval Collection
Looking ahead, Cheval Collection is in talks with investors and developers across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, signaling a promising future for the brand as it continues to expand its global presence in the serviced apartment sector.
