
YOTEL, is continuing its global expansion with new hotel openings and renovations across key markets, including Europe, Middle East and Asia. The brand is focused on providing modern, technology-driven accommodations in urban centers, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
New openings in Europe and the UK
YOTEL is strengthening its presence in Europe, including a new hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland, scheduled for late 2026. This property will offer 165 rooms and a food and beverage concept, alongside a 24/7 fitness center and meeting facilities. Additionally, YOTEL London City, located in Clerkenwell, is undergoing renovations, with the new design expected to be completed by April 2025. The renovations will improve guest experience by streamlining check-in processes and creating flexible spaces for meetings and social gatherings.
Expansion in Asia
YOTEL is also expanding in Asia with several new projects. The brand’s first hotel in Japan, YOTEL Tokyo Ginza, opened in December 2024. This property, located in the prominent Ginza district of Tokyo, offers 244 rooms with various configurations, including Premium Queen and Family Connected rooms. The design integrates modern features and high-tech amenities, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Tokyo Tower and the surrounding skyline.
In addition to YOTEL Tokyo Ginza, YOTEL has signed plans for YOTEL Kuala Lumpur, which will open in 2026. This 290-key hotel will be situated in the Central Business District of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will feature amenities such as a rooftop pool, dining and co-working spaces, and a fitness center. YOTEL is also expanding in Saudi Arabia with the announcement of a hotel in NEOM’s Oxagon, an innovative district focused on research and technology.
New hotel in Bangkok
In Southeast Asia, YOTEL is preparing to open YOTEL Bangkok in late 2025. Located in the South Sukhumvit district, the hotel will be part of the Cloud 11 development, a mixed-use space aimed at creative and tech entrepreneurs. The property will feature 250 rooms, a rooftop bar, a fitness center, and high-tech amenities, such as robot luggage storage and self-service check-in stations.
Technology and sustainability
YOTEL is known for its integration of technology throughout its properties, including amenities like SmartBeds™ and YOBOT luggage storage. In addition to technological features, YOTEL is focusing on sustainability in its projects, especially in its new developments in Kuala Lumpur and NEOM. These projects are designed to align with sustainability goals and reduce the environmental impact of hotel operations.
