Radisson Hotel Group continues to develop its footprint across Europe, contributing to the resurgence of European tourism. With plans to add more than 37,000 rooms globally through new signings, the company is enhancing its presence in key European markets.
Strong growth in 2024
Radisson Hotel Group had its most successful year in 2024, reaching a historical milestone in hotel signings and openings. With plans to open additional hotels in Europe, the company aims to bolster tourism across the continent.

Radisson Blu remains the largest upper-upscale brand in Europe, alongside Radisson Collection and Radisson RED said Elie Younes. The company is further expanding its portfolio in major destinations such as “Barcelona, Madrid, London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Canary Islands, Cortina, Sardinia”, as well as launching new collaborations with renowned partners, including the Porsche Design Tower in Stuttgart and Manchester City Football Club in the UK.
Upcoming openings and signings
In 2025, Radisson Hotel Group kicked off the year with the grand reopening of the Radisson Collection Hotel in Berlin. This luxury hotel is located in the Mitte district, close to significant cultural landmarks such as the Berlin Cathedral. The property has undergone extensive renovations, including the introduction of a “Living Tree” in its lobby.
The expansion of Radisson’s footprint continues with new signings, including the opening of HARBR Hotel Heilbronn, a member of Radisson Individuals, with 127 rooms, and HARBR Hotel Konstanz, offering 76 rooms, both of which are expected to open in 2025. These new properties contribute to Radisson’s growing portfolio in Germany, where the company operates 64 hotels.
Radisson Hotel Group’s growth strategy is focused on both new constructions and conversions. In addition to new openings in Germany, the company has signed four new properties in Norway and entered the Iberian market with hotels in Spain and Portugal.
In Paris, the company is developing two flagship hotels: Maison Rivoli Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and Radisson Blu Hotel, Paris Porte de Versailles.
In the UK, the Medlock Hotel will open in 2026, located at the Etihad Campus, home of Manchester City Football Club, featuring more than 400 rooms, as well as a 180-room hotel which will be part of Oxford United Football Club’ new stadium.
Expansion beyond Europe
The company is also expanding into Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with new properties in Madinah and Ras Al Khaimah, further enhancing its presence in the Middle East.
Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in Asia and the Pacific continues to grow with new openings and signings in the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and India. The company is also increasing its footprint in India, with over 200 hotels expected to be in operation or under development.
