ibis Styles is continuing its expansion across the german market with the recent openings and planned launches of several properties, including ibis Styles Neckarsulm, ibis Styles Hamburg HafenCity and ibis Styles Munich Airport.
A strong expansion strategy across Germany
One of the latest additions to the ibis Styles brand is the Ibis Styles Neckarsulm in Germany. Following a complete renovation of the former Nestor Hotel, the 97-room property now showcases a design that reflects the local automotive history and wine culture. The renovation includes family rooms, accessible rooms, and compact suites, ensuring it caters to a wide range of travelers.
Additionally, the hotel offers sustainable travel options, such as electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle storage. The design was developed by Brumann Innenarchitektur, incorporating local elements like wine barrels and sepia-toned artwork, offering a unique, regional touch.
The hotel also features a fitness space with Technogym equipment and provides a locally inspired breakfast for guests.
Future openings: Hamburg and Munich
Looking ahead, the brand is set to open new properties in Hamburg and Munich by mid-2025. The Ibis Styles Hamburg HafenCity will feature 403 rooms and is part of a larger development in the HafenCity district, which will also include shopping, leisure, and entertainment spaces.
This opening will complement the nearby Novotel Hamburg HafenCity, creating a strong presence in the area.
Meanwhile, in Munich, the Ibis Styles Munich Airport will offer 358 rooms and a design inspired by the local Isar region. The hotel will feature an open lobby, restaurant, bar, and co-working spaces. A children’s area and self-service food market will also be available to enhance the guest experience.
The continued growth of the Ibis Styles brand highlights Accor’s strategy to expand its economy portfolio across key European market as Germany.
