Lindner Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Gabriele Seidel to the newly created role of Vice President Operations & Commercial, effective 1 April 2025. This decision marks an important step in the company’s strategy to strengthen its operations.

Experienced executive to strengthen operations and sales

Gabriele Seidel joins the Lindner Hotel Group with a wealth of experience in the hotel sector, having held various management positions within international hotel chains.

She will now be responsible for the Lindner Hotels & Resorts, Me and All Hotels, L-Collection and 7Pines Hotels & Resorts brands, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

“We are delighted to have Gabriele Seidel join us at this time of transformation to strengthen our management team. His strategic and operational expertise will be a major asset in enhancing the customer experience and refining our market positioning.” – Frank Lindner, Chairman of Lindner Hotels AG

A rich professional background

Originally from South Africa, Gabriele Seidel began her career in the hotel industry at the Atlantic Hotel Kempinski Hamburg, where she successfully completed her training as a hotel manager.

She then held leadership positions in hotels in Germany and internationally, including at H-Hotels Group, where she was Executive Director Sales & Revenue Management, then Vice President Operations D-A-CH.

More recently, she was Corporate Director Operations at Novum Hospitality in Hamburg, overseeing a portfolio of 126 hotels across eight brands.

“My passion for the hotel industry and the sector as a whole is at the heart of my career. For me, success comes from creating human values and services through personal contact, lived hospitality and a strong commitment on the part of the teams.” Gabriele Seidel – new Vice President Operations & Commercial at Lindner Hotels

A stimulating challenge to strengthen operational excellence

In her new role at Lindner, Gabriele Seidel will be responsible for further developing operational processes, marketing and revenue management strategies.

She says she is looking forward to contributing to the future of the Lindner Hotel Group: ‘I’m very excited about joining this group and bringing my vision and experience to strengthen hospitality and employee engagement.’

The appointment of Gabriele Seidel to this strategic position underlines Lindner Hotel Group’s commitment to strengthening its market position by bringing enhanced expertise in both operations management and business development. This strengthening of the management team comes at a time when the Group is in the process of restructuring after filing for bankruptcy at the end of last year.
