MGallery Collection is expanding its footprint in Athens with the addition of 19 new suites to the Athens Capital Hotel, including a presidential suite. This expansion enhances the hotel’s offerings, bringing a more premium experience to the heart of Athens, just steps away from major landmarks.

Athens Capital Suites: a new luxury offering in the heart of Athens

In April 2025, MGallery Collection will debut 19 additional suites, including a presidential suite, at Athens Capital Hotel. These new rooms bring the total number of keys at the property to 196.

Located on one of Athens’ most famous pedestrian streets, the suites blend modern design with elements of Athenian history. The hotel is just minutes away from the Greek Parliament, Syntagma Square, and the National Garden of Athens, offering easy access to the city’s cultural heart.

The suites are designed to offer a balance between neoclassical beauty and contemporary luxury. Some elements from the 1930s have been preserved and complemented by modern touches. The décor is carefully curated, with large paintings and sculptures telling the story of ancient Greece. Marble, a tribute to the Parthenon, is prominently featured in the bathrooms, creating a seamless blend of Athens’ rich architectural heritage with modern luxury.

A personalized stay with exclusive services

Guests of Athens Capital Suites will experience a high level of personalization, with amenities designed to meet individual preferences. This includes a breakfast served in the room, tailor-made cocktails, and customized playlists.

The hotel’s luxurious services, such as the wellness space with a hammam and sauna, a gym, and a lounge area for relaxation before flights, are available just steps away from the suites.

The presidential suite, spread over two floors, includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private rooftop offering panoramic views of Athens. It can be connected to another suite for additional accommodations. The rooftop provides an exclusive space for guests to unwind while enjoying views of the city.

Guests can explore Athens’ culinary traditions at the Mappemonde Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant offers Mediterranean flavors with a twist, including traditional dishes like Kakavia, a fish soup. For a special occasion, the hotel’s chef can create a bespoke dinner, served in the suite for an intimate experience.

For those seeking relaxation, the hotel offers a range of wellness services, from massages to yoga classes, available in the suites. Inspired by ancient Greek rituals, treatments like olive oil massages and Mediterranean salt scrubs are available.

MGallery Collection also introduces its signature “M Moment” experience at Athens Capital Suites, allowing guests to engage in local traditions. One of the experiences includes making a komboloï, a Greek stress-relieving bead necklace, paired with a tasting of local mezzés, such as taramas, Melitzanosalata, and hummus. These immersive activities provide guests with a deeper understanding of Athens’ hospitality and culture.

A commitment to Greek hospitality

These new suites further solidify MGallery Collection’s commitment to offering luxurious, personalized experiences in Athens, combining local culture with world-class hospitality. With the expansion of Athens Capital Suites, MGallery continues to enhance its portfolio, following the opening of NIKO Seaside Resort – MGallery on the island of Crete.
