Travelodge continues to grow its presence across the UK, with the opening of a new 130-room hotel in Bradford South. This marks another step in the brand’s expansion plans, offering more choices for both business and leisure travelers in the region.
Convenient location for both leisure and business
The Bradford South Travelodge is strategically positioned between Bradford and Leeds, providing easy access to key local attractions and transport links.
Guests can explore cultural sites like the National Science and Media Museum or visit nearby Saltaire and the Brontë Parsonage Museum. For sports enthusiasts, the hotel is close to Bartercard Odsal Stadium, home to the Bradford Bulls rugby team.
Business travelers will appreciate the hotel’s proximity to major transport connections, including the M62 motorway, Low Moor, Bradford Interchange, and Forster Square Railway Stations. Leeds Bradford International Airport is also just eight miles away, enhancing the hotel’s accessibility.
Continued growth and expansion plans
The new hotel is part of Travelodge’s ongoing expansion in the UK, with the company currently operating over 600 hotels across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. The addition of the Bradford South property brings the number of Travelodge hotels in North Yorkshire to 17.
“We’re excited to officially open our Bradford South hotel. It’s in a great location for both leisure and business travellers and we can’t wait to welcome guests to the latest hotel in our UK estate. We now have around 600 Travelodge hotels throughout the UK and we’re targeting 300 more new locations this year, with 19 of these in the North West region. This will create even more jobs and give our diverse customer mix more choice and great value when visiting the north of England and the rest of the UK.” – Tony O’Brien, UK Development Director at Travelodge
Travelodge’s commitment to expanding its network further strengthens its presence in key locations across the UK, continuing to meet the growing demand for budget-friendly, accessible accommodation options. As part of this ambitious growth plan, the brand has recently opened properties in Birmingham and London.
