Seventy Five at Liberty, the first stand-alone restaurant from catering specialists Goose + Berry, is now open on the second floor of the iconic Regent Street store. Expect destination dining, Liberty flair and innovative cocktails as well as a quintessentially British afternoon tea.

The Seventy Five Experience:

Seventy Five at Liberty, formerly Arthur’s, has been reimagined and designed with the warmth and the attention to detail synonymous with the store. Whilst the name may lend a knowing nod to Liberty’s founding year (1875), Seventy Five is inherently modern.

Head Chef Joe Holness, formerly of Fera at Claridge’s and Da Terra, has crafted an innovative sharing-style menu which invites diners to gather over brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. The fare takes its cues from modern British cuisine, celebrating fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally and sustainably, including honey from Goose + Berry’s own hives.

Signature small plates such as goat’s cheese & almond croquettes and torched mackerel with pickled carrot and chervil sauce sit alongside larger plates of Swaledale chicken breast with salsify and thyme, as well as British Hampshire pork chop and fresh herb salsa verde. Indulgent desserts include a creamy chocolate mousse with preserved cherries.

The brunch menu is ideal for discrete business breakfasts, morning catch-ups with friends and fuelling before shopping. The menu features classics including Burford Brown eggs royale with Severn & Wye smoked salmon and trout roe; sautéed wild mushrooms on toasted brioche with homegrown herbs and healthy yoghurt bowls topped with strawberries, elderflower and homemade toasted granola.

The Bollinger afternoon tea at Seventy Five is a must.  Head Pastry Chef Lizzie Ross pays homage to Liberty’s rich arts and crafts heritage. Priced at £50 per person, enjoy savouries such as hot smoked chalk stream trout filo tart, truffle vol-au-vents and coronation chicken brioche buns before pretty as a picture sweet treats of pistachio crème choux with candied pistachios and rose, rhubarb and white chocolate macarons and lemon tart with Italian meringue and lime, accompanied by freshly baked buttermilk scones with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam. Enjoy with your choice of tea or coffee and a glass of Bollinger Special Cuvée Champagne.

Drink It All In

Cocktails are inspired by the store’s signature LBTY fragrance collection. Creations are named after specific scents and incorporate key notes such as Adelphi Sun, which blends jasmine with fresh and zesty grapefruit, The Wild Rosinda, mixing El Dorado with Cocchi Rosa and lemon and the Ianthe Oud balancing Tanqueray gin with Italicus and bergamot.

In addition, creative, seasonally changing cocktails will be on offer throughout the year, with serves showcasing seasonal fruits, herbs and ingredients. The drinks list also features an extensive choice of wines, prosecco and champagnes.

Stunning Interiors

The interiors draw inspiration from Liberty’s signature aesthetic, blending arts and crafts influences with contemporary design. Bold Liberty prints and layered fabrics in a warm colour palette of burgundy, pink and green create an inviting dining environment, reflective of the welcoming ambience throughout the store. Wall panels showcase Chinoiserie motifs and Persian Garden illustrations whilst the ceiling features a customised fabric installation. Vintage velvet references add elegance, while wallpaper with intricate botanical designs is complemented by contemporary geometric patterns, creating a sophisticated interplay of colour and texture.

Art has always been at the heart of Liberty, and Seventy Five will continue this legacy with an ongoing Artist in Residence series with the walls of the dining room playing host to the work of well-known artists, all available for purchase.  The first Artist in Residence will be renowned cartoonist, illustrator and writer, Sir Quentin Saxby Blake, offering guests a rare opportunity to own a piece of illustrated history.
