Florida-based Asante Asset Management is excited to announce that construction is progressing rapidly on the new European-inspired AC Hotel by Marriott in historic St. Augustine. Construction began in April 2024, and the hotel is on schedule to open in fall 2025, introducing a refined, modern lodging experience to the heart of America’s oldest city.

AC Hotel St. Augustine will feature 142 thoughtfully designed rooms across four floors, tailored for both leisure and business travelers who appreciate sleek style and purposeful amenities. Highlights include the AC Lounge & Kitchen, offering curated menu selections, Spanish wines and crafted cocktails including the brand’s signature GinTonic; a 24-7 fitness center; and a stylish outdoor lounge pool ideal for cooling off after a day of exploration. With 1,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, the hotel is well equipped to host weddings, corporate meetings, and special events.

Located on Riberia Street along the scenic San Sebastian River, guests will enjoy walking access to St. Augustine’s top attractions, including the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Flagler College. The hotel is just steps away from renowned dining and entertainment venues like San Sebastian Winery, Ice Plant and St. Augustine Distillery. Additionally, the property is adjacent to the vibrant San Sebastian Riverfront and nearby marina.

The hotel is owned and developed by Asante Asset Management. BCA Studios serves as the architect with EDGEiD leading interior design. Upon opening, the hotel will be professionally managed by McKibbon Hospitality which currently manages nearly 100 properties across the southeast, including four other AC Hotels.

Hiring events for salaried and hourly roles will be announced as opening approaches. For more information on career opportunities, visit mckibbon.com/careers. Booking details for the AC Hotel St. Augustine will be released soon at Marriott.com.
