After captivating Paris with its spectacular take on Latin American dining, Tigermilk is crossing the Channel and opening its doors at 127 Charing Cross Road on 12th June.

The arrival of this 138 cover restaurant marks the UK debut of a fast-growing restaurant group that reimagines the Latin dining with flair, generosity, and unmistakable soul.

Founded in 2019 by restaurateurs Nina and Alexis Melikov, Tigermilk is already a cult favourite in France. Attracting over 3,500 guests daily across its ten locations, the brand is beloved for its electric energy, bold interiors, and food that balances sunshine and spice in equal measure: all at an unbeatable price point.

At the heart of Tigermilk is a deep love for Latin America, from the coastlines of Peru to the mercados of Mexico without falling into cliché. Dishes are generous, festive, and precisely seasoned. Ingredients are impeccably sourced: MSC-certified fish, free-range meats, and fresh market produce form the backbone of a menu designed for indulgence, not restraint.

Among the highlights: a chipotle-marinated T-bone, bathed for 12 hours in agave before hitting the grill; cochinita pibil tacos, slow-cooked and richly spiced; a fresh dorade ceviche with strawberries, as vibrant as it is unexpected; and a tableside guacamole ritual, made to order before your eyes. Larger plates include a dramatic rocoto-glazed lamb shoulder built for sharing.

Desserts are no afterthought. A towering maracuyá tiramisu, four indulgent layers of passionfruit and cream, competes for attention with an obscenely good dulce de leche cheesecake, the kind of finale you won’t forget anytime soon.

Tigermilk’s drinks list is equally bold: think mezcal-laced mules, floral Hibiscus Margaritas, and a Tigermilk spritz kissed with yuzu and pink grapefruit. With over 250 bottles of tequila and mezcal on offer, it’s a dream playground for agave lovers. The wine selection spotlights independent producers from France and South America.

The space, set across two theatrical floors, was designed, like all their locations, by Tigermilk’s in-house creative team, Studio Leche, in collaboration with celebrated Soho House interiors alumna Christie Ward. The design takes its cues from the faded grandeur of the old estates around Cuernavaca where life once unfolded between marble courtyards, mirrored halls, and lush gardens. Here, white and red marble floors set the stage, while mirrored ceilings catch the light from cascades of tropical greenery. A large open kitchen draws guests into the energy of the brigade, and a sweeping bar stretches across the room, fronting a glowing wall of over 250 mezcals & tequila.

Tigermilk is a love letter to Latin America, loud, generous, and full of soul. Not authentic, not traditional, just full of life. The food’s banging, the drinks are dangerous, and the prices? Shockingly gentle.
