Introducing Downstairs at Sucre, Soho’s new private dining and events space hidden beneath the fire dining Latin American restaurant, Sucre.
A hideaway in the heart of Soho, discover an exciting space perfect for daytime launches, business lunches, intimate dinners and cocktail parties with capacity for 40 seated and 80 standing.
Paying homage to the infectious energy of Central and South America and designed by Victoria Vogel with warm lighting, exposed brickwork, plush velvet seating and jewel-toned interiors, Downstairs at Sucre exudes a cool, clandestine charm reminiscent of a modern speakeasy.
With a dining menu straight from the flames of the acclaimed upstairs restaurant, Sucre, guests can enjoy fire-led Argentinian flavours in an atmospheric setting.
Choose from canape options or two sharing menus (priced at £90/£100 per person), with drinks packages, celebration cakes, entertainment and bespoke gift boxes also available.
Each menu is rooted in Sucre’s bold Latin American cuisine, with key highlights including small plates of beef and chilli empanadas and large sharing plates of Hereford bone-in rib eye steak or turbot with seaweed beurre blanc; finished off with a classic burnt cheesecake with strawberries.
Agave-centric Cocktails & South American Wines
An integral part of any event is the drinks experience.
The cocktail menu puts the spotlight on tequila and mezcal with signature tipples including the sweet and sour Luz de Lima with Patron Reposado tequila, Olmeca Altos Plata tequila, rhubarb liqueur, pear purée, vanilla syrup and lime juice; and the Inmigrante – a smoky blend of Ojo De Dios Joven, Aperol, Italicus, vanilla syrup, lime juice and Ms. Better’s bitters.
A wide range of non-alcoholic options are also available, whilst wine lovers can choose from over 400 varietals, many from South America, with bottles to suit varied tastes and budgets.
