Hubby eSIM has partnered with German travel technology platform, paxconnect.
The partnership allows the more than 6,200 travel agencies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland within in the paxconnect network access to Hubby’s connectivity services under their brand.
Hubby’s eSIM solution offers two-fold benefits for the travel agency cohort.
According to the parties, not only will they enhance their product portfolio with an easy-to-use, reliable and affordable Internet connection in more than 200 countries and regions, but it will allow them to improve the travel experience of their customers as they can continuously support them on the ground by offering them additional activities and services throughout the journey.
Travel agents signing up through paxconnect can fully customise the Hubby app with their own brand identity, from logos to colours and welcome screens, giving them full control over how their customers experience the service.
Among the benefits of Hubby’s connectivity solution are data services offered at local rates, which are 98% cheaper than roaming fares.
Hubby’s eSIMs are shareable and ideal for families or groups travelling together. Additionally, customers do have Internet access via their regular mobile number. It also offers flexibility to travellers as Hubby offers a wide range of eSIM cards from 1 GB to 20 GB.
“With Hubby’s eSIM now available through paxconnect, the travel agencies connected to the platform will have a new tool to extend their service beyond the booking process,” said Thijs van der Wijk, CEO of Hubby eSIM.
“It is not just about data — it is about keeping the connection between travellers and their agents alive, relevant, and valuable during the trip itself.”
“This partnership is a great example of how we can empower our travel agencies to offer smarter, more connected services to their customers,” said Hakan Duganci, Head of Sales at paxconnect.
“By making Hubby’s eSIMs available directly within our environment, we’re helping agents deliver better trips and build stronger relationships.”
