Cork’s urban resort joins an exclusive list of premier wellness destinations as the first spa in Cork to offer Elemental Herbology with brand new spa menu

The Montenotte, Cork’s finest urban resort announces its new exclusive partnership with Elemental Herbology at the award-winning Bellevue Spa. As the first in Cork and second hotel in Ireland to collaborate with multi-awarding winning natural skincare brand, Elemental Herbology, this partnership brings a holistic wellness experience to Ireland’s leading luxury destination, furthering its commitment to delivering exceptional and innovative guest experiences.

Alongside its established list of body and holistic treatments, The Montenotte’s in-house Bellevue Spa will now offer Elemental Herbology products and treatments, joining a number of exclusive hotels including Nobu Hotel, London and Shangri-La, Oman. Available to local residents, hotel and day guests who are seeking thoughtfully curated spa treatments and a calming space to relax and recharge both body and mind.

Elemental Herbology creates holistic wellness experiences inspired by The Five Element Theory – Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The brand combines plant-based skin and body products with a fusion of eastern and western techniques, stemming from the philosophy that life exists in a constant state of flux where lifestyle and environment impact energy flow and balance. With a fresh approach connecting deeply with community, culture, and sustainability, Elemental Herbology helps guests discover their elemental balance through innovative products that restore harmony and promote wellbeing in all aspects of life.

The Five Element philosophy perfectly complements The Montenotte’s unique setting, where the Wood element is reflected in the Victorian sunken gardens and surrounding woodlands, Water in the stunning views of the River Lee, Earth in the urban resort’s hilltop location, Fire in the warmth of its Irish hospitality, and Metal in its contemporary design details.

As part of the launch, Bellevue Spa will introduce a new menu featuring Elemental Herbology facial and body products with treatments based on The Five Element Theory. Highlight treatments include a Five Element Aroma Facial bespoke to each guests skin and dominate elements, a Rose Hydrator Body Wrap to soothe parched skin, a Thai-Qi Flow Massage using acupressure techniques to restore energy flow and balance mind and body, and Ho-Leaf and Rosemary Muscle Melt combining essential oils with deep massage to unravel tension.

Every facial and body treatment will use a combination of signature techniques in order to address the impacts of busy, modern lifestyles. The new spa menu will complement The Montenotte’s existing wellness amenities, including the therapeutic Salt Room crafted from over 1,400 Himalayan salt bricks where guests can recline on plush chaise lounges and allow their bodies to absorb natural minerals, and The Motion Health Club with its 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi.

Juan Tudela, General Manager of The Montenotte, says

“We are so thrilled to partner with Elemental Herbology – its holistic approach to balance and wellbeing represents a natural evolution for our award-winning Bellevue Spa. It perfectly aligns with our commitment to offering guests extraordinary and memorable experiences, so we’re very excited to introduce the brand to our guests at The Montenotte.”

Anne-Marie Guerin, Bellevue Spa Manager, adds

“Here at Bellevue Spa, we are so proud to be exclusive stockists of Elemental Herbology in Cork. This collaboration allows us to offer our guests something truly special in the world of beauty. Our new spa menu, highlighting the five elements, will allow our guests to discover their individual balance, so that each treatment is a complete sensory experience through our products, aromas, and spa treatments.”

Sharon O’Connell, Operations Manager at Elemental Herbology, says

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Bellevue Spa at the beautiful, design-led Montenotte hotel in Cork, a destination that, like Elemental Herbology, is dedicated to supporting the individual needs of each guest. Rooted in the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, our philosophy allows us to personalise every treatment to restore balance, boost wellbeing, and enhance vitality. We look forward to bringing this tailored approach to wellness to such an inspiring setting.”
