Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is now accepting reservations for its elegantly redesigned Seaport Tower deluxe guest rooms, set to welcome visitors beginning June 2025. Following the unveiling of its updated signature restaurant Sally’s, this milestone advances the bayfront hotel’s comprehensive transformation by introducing the first wave of reimagined accommodations. Meticulously designed in collaboration with award-winning firm Parker Torres Design, the room renovation commenced in January 2025 and will continue through 2026, elevating the guest experience and cementing Manchester Grand Hyatt’s status as a definitive landmark of Southern California hospitality.

With style and a sense of place, the redesigned deluxe rooms from Parker Torres Design blend coastal luxury with maritime charm, immersing guests in a seaside escape that feels distinctly San Diegan. Inspired by the luxury yachts dotting San Diego’s adjacent marina, each room features organic shapes, curved elements, and a clean aesthetic that embodies nautical elegance. Rich wood accents complement subtle blue hues that mirror the neighboring bay, while thoughtful details abound—from carpet patterns reminiscent of teak yacht decking, to reflective artwork and surfaces that evoke the water, to sailing-inspired fabrics.

The newly transformed deluxe Seaport Tower rooms represent the first collection of accommodations in the hotel’s phased renovation, now available for booking with the complete tower overhaul to be finished by year-end. Harbor Tower renovations will begin in the latter part of 2025, with newly designed rooms launching progressively and full completion targeted for summer 2026.

This comprehensive refresh is part of Manchester Grand Hyatt’s ambitious, property-wide renovation effort, which encompasses all 1,628 guestrooms and suites; more than 320,000 square feet of meeting space; multiple dining venues including the recently reopened Sally’s and the forthcoming reimagined Top of the Hyatt; as well as recreational areas featuring two rooftop pool decks.
