Located in Marathi, near Chania, JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa covers 100 acres of coastal land. This 160-room resort offers views of the Aegean Sea and combines contemporary design with a connection to the island’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The resort’s architecture, created by Athens-based studio Block722, is designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. The use of local materials, including marble and wood, along with planted roofs and tree groves, allows the property to harmonize with the landscape. Sustainability is also a key focus, with geothermal and solar energy systems integrated into the development.
The resort features six dining venues, including ANOEE, a Cretan open-fire restaurant, and Õnalos, which emphasizes a sea-to-table dining experience. Guests can also enjoy beverages and light dishes at more relaxed spots such as Suncti by the Pool and Eēxis, or explore the resort’s JW Market, a café-retail concept offering locally sourced products.
Wellness offerings at JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa include ANOSEAS Spa, which combines traditional Cretan healing practices with modern therapies, along with yoga, fitness, and family-friendly activities designed for multi-generational experiences. Furthermore, the resort boasts a beach club, a fitness center, swimming pools and Family by JW experiences.
