US: Agilysys, a hospitality software and services company, has launched Intelligent Guest Profiles (IGP) to provide hotels and resorts with unified guest data to expand ancillary revenues.
Intelligent Guest Profiles leverages a service-based architecture with “subscribe and sync” capabilities to continuously collect and share real-time behavioural, transactional and preference data across Agilysys software applications and properties, creating a complete view of each guest.
Agilysys claims that contrary to other guest profile services, which typically gathers information such as name, address, email and phone number, IGP can help to create personalised recommendations or offerings for hotel guests.
The software, powered by guestsense.ai, also aggregates spending data alongside recency, frequency and monetary (RFM) value metrics during each stay and over time, so hotels and resorts can assess a guest’s lifetime value.
It is enabled across Agilysys’ PMS systems (Versa, Stay and LMS) and across ancillary revenue-related systems, including spa, golf, reserve dining and activities, membership and Book4Time.
Rohith Kori, senior vice president for corporate and product strategy at Agilysys, said: “Intelligent Guest Profiles represent a quantum leap forward in how guest data is collected, shared and used. The services-based, synchronised and aggregated data collection and sharing, powered by guestsense.ai, is light years ahead of the approaches other software providers have used in attempts to create unified guest profiles. The Agilysys Intelligent Guest Profile services technology meaningfully raises the bar for intelligently collecting and leveraging guest data to elevate personalised service and revenue across properties and amenities.”
