Meliá White House, part of Meliá Hotels International, is excited to launch  Sip & Sax – an all-new weekly jazz series at the landmark London hotel, featuring a pianist and  double bass player, taking place every Wednesday evening in the hotel’s ‘35 Bar and Lounge.

A hidden gem nestled opposite Regent’s Park, Meliá White House offers a haven of elevated  hospitality inside the historic Grade II listed building. Named after the year the hotel was opened,  ‘35 Bar & Lounge is home to almost 100 years of history and is the perfect backdrop for a  sophisticated evening of music and cocktails.

Step back in time to the soulful sounds of live musicians and the clinking of glasses as you sip on  ‘35’s all-new signature cocktails, carefully crafted by the Head Mixologist.

Each cocktail is inspired  by a timeless jazz record, captivating the essence of the song. The collection includes the Trouble  in Mind, a warm blend of Jack Daniels, tropical fruitiness of Yellow Chartreuse, Pimento, Lime, Spicy Pineapple and Soda Water. Dive into a combination of bold and rich flavours with the Key  To The Highway, with Cava, Oloroso Sherry, Peach, Coffee and Chocolate. Each of the  cocktails feature a QR code linked to a jazz record, so guests can listen to the music while sipping  the drink if they wish to.

For those feeling the jazz vibes, the dynamic cocktail, I Wanna Get Funky includes Cognac,  Apricot, Amaro Montenegro, Almond and a zesty Lemon and Grapefruit Twist. With romance  in the air, the refined cocktail She’s a Sweet One is the perfect harmony of sophisticated  flavours, including Rum, Melon, Pear, Lime and Vanilla undertones.

Alongside the cocktails, guests  can enjoy a varied food menu featuring small plates, signature dishes, sharing plates and sweet  treats. Enjoy a range of salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and platters, or snacks such as Crispy  Eggplant, Breaded Halloumi or Chicken Wings.

Travellers and locals alike can extend their visit with an overnight stay at Meliá White House.  Choose from a collection of Mediterranean-inspired rooms, suites and upgraded Level  experience with elevated rooms, service and access to London’s first members-style Level Lounge.

Guests can also elevate their experience with a stay in the exclusive Jazz Suite, featuring an in room record player, plus, a collection of timeless records, curated by the masters of jazz at  Camden’s Jazz Cafe. Set inside The Marylebone Suite, the room is complete with an en-suite  bathroom, lounge and a large separate dining room. The soulful stay in The Marylebone also  features added extras including an in-room service of bourbon cocktails, cava and, with a nod to  the hotel’s Spanish heritage, a charcuterie and cheese board.
