We knew it, hoteliers across the globe knew it and this week, the IDC confirmed it: the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Hospitality Property Management Systems 2025 Vendor Assessment named Mews a Leader.

We believe this recognition reflects a shift happening across the hospitality industry. Hoteliers aren’t settling for outdated tools anymore. And ambitious teams are choosing faster, smarter tech that helps them scale.

After all, leading hotels use leading tech. And now, Mews has the badge to prove it.

What is the IDC MarketScape?

The IDC MarketScape reports are known for objective, data-led evaluations of vendors in complex technology sectors.

In this case, their MarketScape report focused on hospitality PMSs. More specifically, how each vendor performs today and how well it’s positioned to help hoteliers thrive tomorrow.

Back in 2022, the IDC MarketScape for Hospitality  PMS named Mews a Major Player. But we’ve grown, and this year we didn’t just make the list; Mews was named a Leader.

What it means to be named a Leader

We believe being named a Leader in this space positions Mews as a platform that delivers both now and into the future. That means:

  • Advanced product capabilities
  • Clear strategic direction
  • Seamless, integrated experiences

In short: a PMS that helps hoteliers run better, grow faster and spend less time buried in admin.

What the IDC MarketScape says about Mews

The IDC MarketScape positions Mews as a Leader in the Hospitality PMS market. We believe it’s a recognition that reflects not just our product, but the hotel groups using it to scale smarter and operate with more agility.

The report notes, “With its embedded Mews Payments, the company is making strides to fully support its vision for a future in which the PMS is a profit center, as opposed to a cost center, by improving the payment experience for guests and increasing operational efficiency.” In short, we’re helping hoteliers turn operations into opportunity and their PMS into a true revenue driver.

The assessment continues: “Tech-forward hotel brands and properties that want a unified platform to drive efficiency and new revenue streams should consider Mews.”

It’s clear: hotels that lead, choose tech that leads.

Why this matters for hoteliers

If you’re serious about growth, your PMS can’t be holding you back. And if you’re thinking about the future of your operations, act now and not when your competition is already ahead.
