Located within Tokyo’s vibrant Shibuya district, TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET offers prime accommodation options for enjoying Tokyo’s warmer weather and exploring the city’s seasonal calendar.

Guests are invited to enjoy an array of seasonal dining options, with limited-time menu items available at the on-site restaurants and at TRUNK(STORE) – a one-stop-shop for travellers on the go.

TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET also hosts a rolling programme of exhibitions, installations and pop-up events, open to the public and hotel guests. On show in July is “Ambience in Paper” by Hamadawashi which delves into the artistry and cultural resonance of Japanese washi craftsmanship.

For guests with an interest in design, culture and the arts, highly anticipated Tokyo exhibitions to explore this summer include Nambata Tatsuoki at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, Sou Fujimoto at the Mori Art Museum, and Pleasure in Making: The Creative Spirit of DIY for Living at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.

EAT & DRINK

Utilising seasonal and local ingredients, TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET offers a range of on-site dining options. TRUNK(KUSHI) presents a casual approach to dining that celebrates the soul food of Shibuya, whereas TRUNK(KITCHEN) provides a more polished setting. Summer menu items available until end September, include a sea bream and clam ragu pasta, and a refreshing kagoshima amberjack carpaccio with cucumber gazpacho.

TRUNK(LOUNGE) also launches new cocktails and cafe drinks for the season, including an aperitif with hints of wasabi, and an elegant peach tea, crafted using green tea and homemade white peach syrup.

TRUNK(STORE) also stocks an array of food and drink selections, available on-site and online. Seasonal items include a Caramel Banana Shake, Hibiscus Berry Soda, and Rice Flour Granola Brown Sugar Walnuts – these grab and go snacks are ideal for an outdoor picnic or stroll around the city.

For visitors looking to take their culinary tour to the next level, TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET offers a home cooking experience with Tokyo locals, in which guests can even accompany their host to their neighbourhood market.
