Numa Group has announced three new property signings in the UK, expanding its portfolio in London and Edinburgh through its Native serviced apartment brand.

The European hospitality operator said it would redevelop a listed building on Margaret Street in London’s West End to create 30 units. In Edinburgh, it has agreed deals for two further properties with developer HUB, providing a combined 117 units in the city centre.

The London site, a former convent, will place guests close to Oxford Street and Regent Street as well as Mayfair and Fitzrovia. The group said the scheme will feature its digital platform designed to streamline the booking and check-in process.

In Edinburgh, the first project at Water Street in Leith will deliver 45 units near the Royal Yacht Britannia and the Shore, while a second development on Thistle Street will provide 72 units in New Town, close to St Andrew Square and Princes Street.

Dimitri Chandogin, president of Numa Group, said: “With Margaret Street in London and two centrally located properties in Edinburgh, Numa is advancing a UK strategy focused on prime, culture-rich districts and a fully digital guest journey that today’s travellers expect.”

Olivia Immesi, chief executive of Native Places, said the expansion was part of building “one of the largest platforms of lifestyle serviced apartments in Europe”.
