
Kimpton, part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio, ius slated to open a hotel in Napa Valley, Calif., in 2028, joining 10 other Kimptin prioperties in the state. Napa Valley draws more than four million visitors annually, many being oenephiles seeking out the wine that the region is known for.
The property will be located along First Street and the Napa River between Main Street and the Oxbow Public Market. It will occupy two four-story buildings and include 123 guestrooms. Guests will have access to Kimpton services such as morning coffee and tea through Kimpton Kickstart, evening refreshments at Kimpton Social and the “Forgot It? We’ve Got It!” amenity program. Pets of all sizes are allowed at no additional charge.

The hotel will include a rooftop bar and restaurant, a central courtyard, garden patio, outdoor spa and contrast therapy studios. These spaces are designed to provide guests with dining, wellness and leisure options.
Stratus Development Partners is the hotel’s owner; the property is the first IHG hotel in its portfolio that includes six open and pipeline properties in the Americas.

The opening of Kimpton Napa Valley adds to the brand’s global portfolio, which includes nearly 150 open and in pipeline properties. Recent and upcoming openings in the Americas include Kimpton Fredericksburg in Texas, Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove in California and Kimpton Coco Palms Resort in Hawaii.
