Faena New York opens today, ushering in a new chapter of culture-driven hospitality in the heart of Manhattan. Two decades after Faena’s visionary debut in Buenos Aires, and ten years since the transformative arrival of Faena Miami Beach, Faena brings its singular spirit to New York City.

Infused with Faena’s signature point of view, New York becomes a canvas for a new kind of storytelling- one that animates every space, merging art, design, dining, wellness, and performance into a world where culture and craft guide the journey.

Conceived by founder Alan Faena, Faena New York is a multidimensional expression in celebration of the city’s creative pulse.

Rooted in Faena’s philosophy of cultural immersion and community, Faena New York brings together a constellation of collaborators across culinary, design, and art- each adding dimension to a destination designed to spark creativity, connection, and joy.

Internationally renowned chef Francis Mallmann helms the property’s signature restaurant, La Boca—anchoring the culinary experience with his elemental approach to fire, flavor, and performance.

Conceived by the Faena Design Team together with design collaborator Peter Mikic, the interiors bring Faena’s creative ethos to life through richly layered spaces, where bold patterns and iconic symbolism meet the theatrical elegance inspired by old New York glamour. Bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, every room and suite evokes the quiet drama of an urban dreamscape.

The journey begins in The Cathderal, where a monumental site-specific mural by Argentine artist Diego Gravinese unfolds across the lobby’s soaring walls titled The Sefirotic Journey.

Located at 500 West 18th Street and overlooking the High Line, the iconic building by the renowned Bjarke Ingels Group offers the perfect canvas for Faena’s vision. Composed as a sensorial journey, the property spans 120 guest rooms and suites, with immersive spaces for dining, gathering, and restoration—including The Living Room, Faena Theater, Tierra Santa Healing House, and an open-air plaza inviting the city in.

Each space is part of a living narrative that carries forward Faena’s mission to merge art, culture, and community into unforgettable experiences. Together, these elements create a cultural destination where art, architecture, and atmosphere intertwine, each setting contributing to the larger Faena story.

Rooms & Suites

Every room and suite features rich textures, sculptural furnishings, and Faena’s signature symbology, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing sweeping views of the Hudson River and New York skyline.

At the pinnacle of this experience is the Faena Suite—a two-story private residence accessed by dedicated elevator. With three king bedrooms, a baby grand piano, expansive landscaped terrace, and panoramic views stretching from the Hudson River to the Empire State Building, the suite reimagines city living through dramatic entertaining spaces and immersive design.

La Boca

La Boca at Faena New York is Chef Francis Mallmann’s tribute to Buenos Aires’ iconic neighborhood. Handcrafted details and live performances infuse the space with Argentina’s vibrant spirit—a place of passion, memory, and myth.

La Boca’s interiors are richly layered, with pop-art murals by Edgardo Gimenez, bespoke chandeliers by artist Alberto Garutti

The menu is inspired by Mallmann’s signature Patagonian fire-cooking techniques and bold, elemental flavors.

The Living Room

Situated on the second floor, The Living Room is the social heart of Faena New York—a vibrant space that shifts effortlessly from relaxed daytime gatherings to glamorous evenings filled with music, conversation, and ritual. The room features two Deco-style bars anchoring each end, with 134 seats arranged throughout richly upholstered lounge areas, conversation corners, and cocktail tables. A 900-square-foot terrace opens over the High Line Park, offering seasonal outdoor seating. This elevated garden setting provides a tranquil yet cinematic backdrop, ideal for golden hour aperitifs or late-night gatherings under the skyline.

Flanking the space are two glass murals by Argentinian artist Juan Gatti, celebrating the iconic architecture and symbology of New York City. A 160-foot-long gallery connects The Living Room to El Secreto and La Cava featuring a Keith Haring original titled Montreaux’s Jazz Festival celebrating New York’s own downtown art legacy.

El Secreto

El Secreto‘s setting feels otherworldly yet distinctly urban featuring a deconstructed disco ball designed by conceptual artist Sebastian Errazuriz.

La Cava

La Cava draws inspiration from the original wine cellar at Faena Buenos Aires, featuring Lightness of Being by Chris Levine.

Faena Art

Faena Art, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to commissioning cross-disciplinary artistic experiences and immersive works that bring art into the public realm and into the heart of community life. Free, inclusive, and deeply connected to place, Faena Art fosters new ways of experiencing culture and community—transforming everyday spaces into vibrant platforms for creative and cultural expression.

The Plaza, located at the front of the property, serves as a public gathering space where Faena Art will continue its mission by offering interactive programming with curated site-specific commissions that are free and open to the public. Designed to host art installations, performances, and everyday moments of pause, it reflects Faena Art’s commitment to cultural engagement.

Tierra Santa Healing House

Opening later this year, Tierra Santa Healing House will bring Faena’s signature approach to wellness to New York. The 12,000-square-foot sanctuary includes a hammam, five water features, eleven treatment rooms, infrared sauna, fitness and movement studios, and bespoke South American healing treatments with potent indigenous ingredients and the latest anti-aging technologies. The space is dedicated to reconnection of body, spirit, and self.

Faena Theater

Opening in Spring 2026, featuring artwork by Andres Resinger and inspired by the glittering allure of Old Hollywood, the intimate gilded theater showcases ambitious artistic productions and Faena’s very own highly-acclaimed cabaret performances.

Every element of Faena New York, from its architecture and interiors to its art, food, and cultural programming, has been crafted to evoke meaning, emotion, and beauty. Rooted in the belief that spaces can tell stories and inspire transformation, Faena New York offers not just an experience, but an invitation to enter a world where imagination leads and every detail has purpose.
