Hyatt Hotels Corp. has announced plans to expand its all-inclusive portfolio in the Dominican Republic with the upcoming Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana, an adults-only resort set to open in 2026. The property will be managed by a Hyatt affiliate under an agreement with GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L., the current owner of Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana.
The resort will feature 406 rooms, including Junior Suites, Master Suites and Presidential Suites, as well as 111 swim-out suites and 13 high-level panoramic swim-out suites.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Hyatt with plans for Secrets Macao Beach,” said Georges Santa-Maria, manager, GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L. “Building on the success of Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, we are confident this resort will offer a premier, adults-only experience to perfectly complement Hyatt’s existing brand footprint in the destination, further elevating the appeal of this incredible location and its natural beauty.”
The resort will offer nine restaurants representing global cuisines and nine bars serving international and domestic spirits, including a sports bar, a cigar lounge and the Coco Café with light bites. A farm-to-table restaurant located within an on-site organic garden will provide a sustainable culinary experience with regional ingredients. Preferred Club guests will have access to an exclusive dining venue with curated menus and elevated service.
Guests at Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana will have access to Hyatt’s Unlimited-Luxury inclusions, which feature pool and beach service, 24-hour room and concierge service, daily activities, entertainment and nightly programming. The property will include three pools, such as a main pool with a beach club atmosphere, an activity pool with panoramic ocean views and a rooftop pool for Preferred Club members. The resort is located adjacent to Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, allowing shared access to restaurants and amenities. A convention center accommodating up to 1,000 guests will provide options for meetings and events.
“The Dominican Republic continues to be a priority destination for our guests seeking adults-only, all-inclusive luxury experiences and our commitment to growing with intent remains prevalent in this highly coveted region,” said Fernando Fernandez, VP, development, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. “We’re thrilled to strengthen our relationship with GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L. and bring the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand to Macao Beach, recognized as one of the Caribbean’s top beaches by UNESCO.”
Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana will further expand Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection in the Dominican Republic, joining recent openings such as Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Miches and Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in La Romana. The portfolio will continue growing in Q4 2025 with the planned opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.
