Simplify Menu Management with OKKAMI’s Latest Upgrade

We’re excited to announce an important enhancement to the OKKAMI Store Menu Builder that gives all properties greater flexibility and control when managing their menus.

Previously, only Room Service stores using the Micros Simphony POS interface type could switch entire sections or individual products on and off. If a section was disabled, the product toggles inside that section were automatically greyed out and could not be changed until the section was re-enabled. This helped ensure accuracy and consistency when managing menus.

With this update, the same functionality is now available for all store types using the OKKAMI Dashboard. This means that every property can now:

  • Disable or enable entire sections of their menu.
  • Automatically disable all products when a section is turned off.
  • Prevent accidental changes with product switches that are greyed out when their parent section is disabled.

This development allows properties to easily enable or disable items that are not currently available. By doing so, guests will not be able to place orders for unavailable products, ensuring smoother operations and a better guest experience.

This enhancement extends a powerful tool to every property, making menu management on the OKKAMI platform simpler, more accurate, and more consistent.
