Drury Hotels announced that construction is underway for its newest property in the Tampa Bay Area. Located in Brandon, Fla., the Drury Plaza Hotel Tampa Brandon is the company’s sixth hotel in Florida and its third to open in the state within the past four years. The hotel is now accepting reservations for September 2026 and beyond.
Designed for both leisure and business travelers, the hotel will feature 210 guest rooms and 2,500 square feet of meeting space. Guests will have access to Drury’s signature amenities and award-winning customer service.

The Drury Plaza Hotel Tampa Brandon will offer a range of amenities for guests including free hot breakfast daily, complimentary dinnertime snacks and beverages at Drury’s 5:30 Kickback®, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, 24-hour business and fitness centers, free on-site parking, an outdoor pool and spa, a late-night Kitchen + Bar dining option and a Guest Market in the lobby.
Business and group travelers will benefit from Drury’s Meetings with More program which provides flexible meeting spaces for up to 300 attendees. The program includes free Wi-Fi for all attendees, no food and beverage minimums and a flexible cancellation policy allowing groups to apply a portion of their cancellation fee toward a future event at any Drury hotel.
The new hotel is part of Drury Hotels’ ongoing expansion in Florida following the openings of the Drury Plaza Hotel Tallahassee in 2024 and the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area in 2022. Once operational, the Tampa property will employ approximately 65 full-time and part-time team members with recruitment underway as construction progresses.
