A mixed-use urban project
The new hotel will be located in an 85-meter mixed-use building, featuring 17 floors dedicated to the Dorint hotel with 227 rooms, a restaurant, and meeting spaces.
The project also includes five levels of offices and medical practices, retail space, and parking.
“Halle, as the second largest city in Saxony-Anhalt, is also a strategically important economic location for us. Strengthening infrastructure also requires high-quality hotels. As a partner in such a major development project, we can sustainably shape the future of Halle.” – Dirk Iserlohe, Chairman of Dorint Supervisory Board
Modern and sustainable design
The project emphasizes contemporary design and construction solutions aligned with current ecological and technological standards.
The hotel will complement the future Zentrum für Deutsche Einheit und Europäische Transformation, expected to attract around one million visitors annually after opening in 2030.
“Dorint is the ideal partner for our project. With this new hotel, located opposite the future Zentrum, we create an optimal complement.” – Klaus Papenburg, Managing director of GP Papenburg Hochbau
“Halle is a site rich in history and with high potential. We can create synergies to meet the needs of various guest segments.” – Stefanie Brandes, COO of Dorint
This project will become Dorint’s second hotel in the city, after the Dorint Charlottenhof Halle, continuing the group’s growth strategy in the region.
