
Accor has signed an agreement with John Williams Hotels & Resorts and Boulevard Hotel Group to launch Mövenpick and Mövenpick Living in Abuja, Nigeria. The development is scheduled to open in Q1 2026 in Abuja’s Central Business District. The property will include 138 hotel rooms and 36 serviced apartments to serve short-term and long-stay guests.

The property will include four dining venues, a 665-square metre grand ballroom, flexible meeting and conference spaces, a spa, fitness centre, and an outdoor pool. Located on Constitution Avenue, it will have direct access to the Three Arms Zone and be approximately 30 minutes from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, supporting business travel, MICE events, and diplomatic engagements.
The project will focus on responsible tourism development, including local employment and inclusive supply chain integration to support Nigeria’s hospitality sector.
Accor currently operates four properties in Nigeria under the ibis, Novotel, and Mövenpick brands. This signing adds to its presence across Africa, where the group operates more than 167 properties and continues development in gateway cities and emerging destinations. Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts operates in over 40 countries with more than 130 hotels and over 90 additional projects in the pipeline.
