This season, Newmor Wallcoverings introduce three new stocked collections: Broxton, Prism, and Slate that capture the essence of Dark Decadence. Rich, tactile, and beautifully understated, each design reflects a modern interpretation of luxury, rooted in heritage, inspired by nature, and made to withstand the demands of contemporary hospitality spaces.
The new collections embrace a quiet confidence, having been crafted with precision in Newmor’s design and manufacturing facility in the heart of Wales. Designed to perform, each new design epitomises Newmor’s approach to refined luxury for commercial interiors.
Broxton
A sophisticated take on a classic design, Broxton features a striking large-scale herringbone enhanced with an emboss that perfectly replicates a woven textile. Its defined texture and depth make it equally at home in grand lobbies or intimate guest suites.
Available in nine considered colourways, from soft neutrals to rich ebony and aubergine, Broxton delivers timeless elegance with a contemporary flair. The palette’s versatility allows designers to create layered, atmospheric interiors that speak to modern luxury.
Rose Campbell, Head of Design and Marketing at Newmor shared how this design came about, “Broxton is named after Jessica Broxton, our in-house designer who came up with the original concept. It is a reflection of Newmor’s continued commitment to celebrating British craftsmanship and sustainable design. Each wallcovering is made using a minimum of 20% recycled material, combining heritage and innovation in equal measure”.
Prism
Prism draws inspiration from the timeless allure of cut crystal and its inherent glamour. A new emboss creates a refined faceted texture that catches and reflects light with subtle sophistication, enhanced by soft metallic accents that shimmer gently as you move through a space.
The nine-colour palette brings an elevated touch of opulence, from ethereal neutrals to accents of oxblood, olive, and midnight.
Rose Campbell adds, “Prism’s understated sheen and precise surface bring depth and luminosity to hospitality interiors, offering an elegant counterpoint to darker materials such as wood, marble, and bronze. Ideal for bars, corridors, or feature walls, Prism transforms light into a design element, a quiet nod to dark decadence”.
Like the rest of this autumn’s launches, it is made using a minimum of 20% recycled material, ensuring beauty meets responsibility.
Slate
Reminiscent of Welsh slate, which is prized around the world for its strength and style, Slate celebrates the raw beauty of nature refined through craftsmanship. The design captures the unique mineral qualities of this metamorphic rock, translating them into a wallcovering that feels both structurally weathered and luxurious.
The palette of nine natural shades is inspired by the Welsh landscape, with deep plum, heather blue, weathered grey, and warm brown tones. Together, they create a foundation for today’s contemporary interiors.
Rose Campbell explains, “Slate’s tactile finish and natural depth make it ideal for high-end hospitality and workplace spaces seeking calm, enduring character. Each wallcovering is made using a minimum of 20% recycled material, balancing authenticity and sustainability”.
From the intricate weave of Broxton to the glimmering surface of Prism, and the sculptural texture of Slate, Newmor’s latest launches celebrate their Dark Decadence trend. Each new collection is a tribute to natural materials and time-honoured techniques, demonstrating that true luxury is about craftsmanship and longevity.
