Perched on a scenic hilltop above downtown Santa Fe, the 128-room Hotel Glorieta—now owned by Bullwhip Capital and JMI Realty—officially opens October 25th.
The property, formerly the Lodge at Sante Fe, has been completely transformed by local firm French & French Interiors.

Originally built in 1976, the resort’s reimagined design draws inspiration from the New Mexico city’s landscape, history, and artistry.
Warm wood tones and contemporary silhouettes greet guests in the lobby, which also houses a curated retail shop.
Throughout the guestrooms and suites, the design preserves the property’s original architectural character with black vigas—a hallmark of Southwestern-style design—and rough-hewn ceiling beams. These historic elements are paired with modern Southwestern rugs and preserved pine furniture.
Walls in rich smoky green and deep taupe hues anchor the spaces, while select suites include wood-burning fireplaces, jetted tubs, four-poster king beds, wet bars, and private balconies overlooking the surrounding mountains.

Public spaces have been also been thoroughly revamped to capture Santa Fe’s cultural vibrancy.
The Marigold Room serves as an intimate hub for live entertainment, hosting local musicians and national touring acts.
Outdoors, the Leisure Club invites relaxation with a refreshed pool deck, custom bolsters in earthy tones, ivory outdoor sofas. A barrel sauna will also be installed shortly after Hotel Glorieta’s opening.
Guests also have access to a fitness center, yoga classes, and the nearby BLM hiking trails.
Lady Duff’s Lounge, a new dining concept

Anchoring the F&B program, Lady Duff’s Lounge brings a sultry, cinematic energy to the property. Named for Lady Duff Twysden, the stylish muse behind Brett Ashley in Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises, the venue channels the creative spirit of Santa Fe’s past. Here, graphic prints showcase a green and terracotta palette, while carefully preserved tin lanterns add a warm, nostalgic glow.
Event venues also received a full upgrade. This include the Maravilla Ballroom for weddings and grand celebrations, an outdoor lawn set before an intimate Chapel, and flexible private spaces within the Marigold Room and Lady Duff’s Lounge.
