From Paris to Dubai: a new phase of growth
Six years after its first ventures abroad, Big Mamma is returning to Paris with Gloria Osteria, located on rue de Lille in the 7th arrondissement. This new venue, inspired by Italian heritage, marks another milestone in the group’s international expansion.
Simultaneously, the brand is entering the Middle Eastern market with Gloria Osteria at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC in Dubai, scheduled to open in December. This launch represents a significant step in Big Mamma’s global strategy and its commitment to developing a presence beyond Europe.

“After ten years, thirty trattorias and seven countries across Europe, we’re opening a new chapter of our journey, and it’s a golden one” the group announced regarding its Dubai debut.
Steady expansion across Europe
These new openings add to a series of projects announced in recent months. In 2024, Big Mamma strengthened its presence in the United Kingdom with a sixth location in London, the announcement of a future Circolo Popolare in Manchester, and its first opening in Ireland.
The group has also expanded its footprint in Southern Europe with the opening of a Gloria Osteria in Barcelona’s Eixample district.
This expansion reflects a consistent strategy focused on urban destinations with strong cultural and tourism appeal.
A refined concept anchored in Big Mamma’s identity
Both the Paris and Dubai Gloria Osteria projects adopt a more sophisticated approach, blending design and authenticity. Originating in Milan, the concept emphasizes craftsmanship and Italian culinary heritage while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere characteristic of Big Mamma.

“Gloria will embody everything we’ve learned in these 10 incredible years — a place where Italian heritage meets Parisian refinement.” – Francesco Fronda, Executive chef of Gloria Osteria Paris
Through these latest openings, Big Mamma strengthens its position as a key player in the modern Italian dining scene, balancing local identity and international reach across the EMEA region.
