Ground transportation and accommodation specialist CMAC Group has reshuffled some senior leaders as it expands across Europe.

João Moura has been appointed as director of market expansion as part of the move. He has served as managing director of Portugal for the group since it entered the market in 2007 and has nearly three decades of experience in hospitality, aviation and operations.

In his new role he will focus on identifying and establishing new office locations to accelerate CMAC’s global footprint.

Lillian Moura has become general manager of Portugal. Previously part of the Portuguese leadership team, she will now oversee operations in Portugal.

Patricia Nova has been named head of DMC cruise. She has more than ten years of experience in destination management and cruise logistics.

Together, the three will be tasked with leading key strategic areas supporting CMAC’s long-term success across international markets.

Chief operating officer Matthew Ratcliffe said: “CMAC continues to experience exceptional growth across Europe, supported by both strong client demand and our investment in people and technology.

“Expanding our leadership team is a key step in ensuring we have the right structure to scale, deliver market-leading service and create new opportunities across our network.

“João, Lillian and Patricia each bring deep expertise and proven leadership to roles that are central to our long-term strategy.”

João Moura added: “It has been an incredible journey establishing CMAC in Portugal and seeing how our team’s passion and commitment has shaped the business.

“I’m excited to focus on the next stage of growth, identifying new markets where our technology and service model can bring real value to clients.

“CMAC has built its reputation on trust, reliability and innovation, and that foundation will continue to guide our global expansion.”

CMAC has moved over five million passengers across 121 countries this year and supported more than 100,000 cruise travellers in Portugal.
