OTA launches ‘most loved’ filter for top rated hotels

Online travel agent loveholidays has hosted its inaugural Partner Appreciation Awards, honouring its top flight, hotel and ancillary partners.

More than 300 partners attended the event at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London.

The awards were held to recognise excellence and strengthen relationships with the OTA’s suppliers.

Loveholidays also used the event to launch its Most Loved Hotel Awards, recognising the hotels rated highest by its customers, based on reviews from more than 215,000 holidaymakers over the last 12 months

Hotels were awards in two categories. The Most Loved in Destination honoured more than 1,000 hotels across 40 destinations, representative of the top two percent in the OTA’s portfolio.

And the Most Loved Worldwide accolade recognised 275 properties that achieved a customer rating of 4.5 out of 5 or higher, placing them among the top 0.6% of hotels that loveholidays sells.

The properties that won awards will benefit from enhanced visibility on loveholidays’ platform, through a new ‘Most Loved’ filter enabling customers to search specifically for recognised hotels.

Special Recognition Awards were also presented to 38 partners on the night, including flight, ancillary and transfer suppliers, in recognition of their contributions to their joint success with loveholidays.

Working collaboratively with our hotels and airlines, we’ve expanded our offering to over 50,000 properties and flights from 140 carriers whilst maintaining the quality standards our customers expect.

“A huge congratulations to all of our winners and thank you for your continued support. We look forward to continuing to trailblaze the travel industry alongside you all.”
