Mandarin Oriental expands in Dubai with second opening

UAE: Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai has opened, located within the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The 303-metre Wasl Tower has been designed by UNStudio and engineered by Werner Sobek.

With interiors by G.A Group, the Mandarin Oriental hotel features 259 rooms and suites, as well as 224 residences will launch in 2026 as the brand’s first residential offering in the city.

Amenities include 10 dining venues, a rooftop helipad, a poolside terrace on the 11th floor, and a two-floor wellness offering with nine treatment rooms, vitality pools, experience showers, saunas, steam rooms, and a fitness centre.

More than 2,000 square metres of flexible indoor space is available for events, including a ballroom and eight meeting rooms.

The hotel joins Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai. Mandarin Oriental now operates 44 hotels, 12 residences and 26 homes across 27 countries.
