Barrière Hotels is now operating under the new name Barrière Collection, marking a strategic repositioning of its portfolio. The change consolidates its hotels under a single banner and organizes the properties into four categories: Signature, Heritage, Address and Premium. The initiative is designed to modernize and internationalize the model while maintaining the standards of excellence, emotion and authenticity associated with the brand.

Barrière has been active in French hospitality since 1912. The group’s locations span from Deauville’s boardwalk to Cannes’ steps, and from Fouquet’s in Paris to La Baule. With Barrière Collection, the company has restructured its portfolio to offer a constellation of distinct settings, each reflecting different facets of Barrière culture.

The Signature Collection, represented by Fouquet’s, focuses on ultra-luxury in exclusive locations. Fouquet’s has locations in Paris and New York, with two new sites joining the portfolio: Courchevel and Saint-Barth. Each hotel provides striking decor, restaurants, and lively atmospheres designed to showcase the Barrière spirit internationally.

The Heritage Collection preserves the legacy of François André’s 1912 model in Deauville, combining hospitality, dining, entertainment, sports and culture. Properties such as Le Normandy in Deauville, Le Majestic in Cannes, L’Hermitage in La Baule and Le Westminster in Le Touquet reflect architectural and emotional heritage, with historical significance and regional identity embedded in each location.

The Address Collection, centered on Maison Barrière, emphasizes tailored and intimate experiences between a luxury hotel and private residence. Maison Barrière Vendôme established this concept, and a new location, Maison Barrière Príncipe Real, is scheduled to open in Lisbon in 2026. These boutique hotels cater to guests seeking privacy and local connection.

The Premium Collection combines leisure and business hospitality. Locations in Cannes, Lille, Ribeauvillé and Enghien-les-Bains integrate casinos, wellness centers and meeting facilities. The collection offers the Barrière style to a broader clientele while maintaining the group’s service standards, conviviality and generosity.

The rebrand positions Barrière Collection as a portfolio that merges heritage with contemporary hospitality. Its properties extend from Deauville to New York and from the Atlantic to the Caribbean, reflecting a French approach to service and hospitality that emphasizes culture, emotion and experience.
