Hilton London Bankside is undergoing a major expansion, adding 76 new rooms and suites and increasing the hotel’s total capacity to 368.
The development introduces 12 new room categories following an investment by owner Splendid Hospitality Group. The new accommodation is available to book now for stays from 1 February 2026.
The expansion includes a newly built ninth floor offering views across Bankside and the wider London skyline. Several of the new suites feature additional amenities, including kitchenettes, dedicated dining areas and enhanced wellness facilities.
Hilton London Bankside worked with interior design agency SpaceInvader on the project, drawing inspiration from the surrounding Bankside area. Art consultancy Studio Graphite curated artworks for the rooms, referencing the nearby Tate Modern and local street art culture.
Among the new room types are suites designed for longer stays and wellness-focused travel, as well as family-oriented accommodation. The hotel said flexible interconnecting rooms and larger suites had been incorporated to cater for families and group travel.
The expansion also continues the hotel’s sustainability programme under Hilton’s Travel with Purpose strategy. Materials used in the new rooms include recycled-content surfaces, carpets certified to cradle-to-cradle bronze standard and bio-sourced wallpaper.

Hilton London Bankside was named Best Luxury Sustainable Hotel in Northern Europe at the 2025 World Luxury Hotel Awards.
