Mews, a cloud solutions provider for the hospitality industry, has announced that over 1,650 properties are now using its multi-space management platform, Mews Spaces. This integrated software enables hoteliers to generate over €300 million in additional revenue by diversifying their services, in response to the growth of extended stays and increased demand for flexible services.

Since the launch of Mews Spaces, more than 1 million bookings have been made for spaces such as offices, co-working spaces, day beds, parking spaces, and meeting rooms. By enabling hotels to offer these services by the day, hour, or month, Mews provides increased flexibility. The inventory of these spaces is managed in the same way as typical hotel rooms, streamlining operations and allowing hoteliers to increase their profitability without having to add new software.

“Mews is incredibly powerful for hoteliers because it allows you to manage any part of the property—whether it’s rooms, parking, or co-working spaces—on the same platform. A diverse business is a healthy business, and Mews Spaces helps capture additional revenue without complication.” – Matthijs Welle, CEO of Mews

A third of the additional revenue generated by Mews Spaces, around €100 million, comes from long-stay bookings. The extended stay market is experiencing significant growth, estimated at $54 billion in 2023, and hoteliers well-positioned to capitalize on this trend are expected to continue succeeding in the years ahead.

The adoption of bookable services via Mews has doubled in less than a year. In 2024, the average revenue per booking was €430, an 80% increase from the previous year.

Lastly, Compagnie Hôtelière de Bagatelle implemented an additional booking engine to manage day-use rooms, thus increasing both its revenue and visibility within the local community.

This expansion of Mews Spaces demonstrates how flexibility in space management can enable hoteliers to diversify and increase their revenue while improving operational efficiency.
