Travel technology firm Inspiretec has announced a strategic partnership with Swedish cruise technology specialist Dreamlake, to bring “state-of-the-art” cruise booking capabilities to its tour operator and retail travel platforms.

This collaboration equips Inspiretec customers with seamless access to a vast global inventory of cruise products, to allow them to tap into one of the fastest-growing sectors in travel.

The integration offers a complete cruise search, pricing, and booking solution across B2B, B2C, and retail markets, embedding cruise products directly into Inspiretec’s selling workflow.

This enables travel businesses to capitalise on the “immense” growth opportunities that the booming cruise market presents.

As part of the agreement, Inspiretec’s advanced travel CRM will also become available to all Dreamlake customers.

The tool is designed to enhance customer engagement, boost revenues, and improve margins, giving businesses a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.

Following a successful proof of concept last year, the new integration is set to launch this Spring for a customer who will implement the platform across their online, retail, and trade channels.

Simon Powell, CEO of Inspiretec, said: “Cruise is one of the most exciting growth opportunities in travel today, and we’ve searched extensively to find the best technology to support this potential.

“With Dreamlake, we’ve found a partner whose innovative cruise selling platform integrates perfectly with our own, giving our mutual customers a significant competitive advantage.”

David Malmberg, founder and CEO of Dreamlake, added: “Dreamlake has been highly successful in empowering UK agents and international markets with innovative cruise ecommerce technology, addressing the challenges of outdated and limited solutions.

“Partnering with Inspiretec takes this to the next level, enabling us to deliver even greater value to travel businesses.

“Together, we provide the tools needed to unlock new revenue streams and capitalize on the growing demand for cruise travel.”

This partnership represents a significant step forward in modernising the cruise booking experience and equipping travel businesses with the tools they need to succeed in one of the most dynamic sectors of the travel industry.
