Adagio, the European aparthotel company, is continuing to widen its network in Europe and is venturing into Luxembourg. Adagio will be opening a new aparthotel in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2027. This marks Adagio’s expansion into 17 countries.

The hotel will be located in the Cloche d’Or business district within the “Botanica – Your Office Resort” development, which is being developed in partnership with European real estate firm CODIC. Featuring 520,000 square meters of office space, the Cloche d’Or district is projected to grow significantly, with a 50% increase in office space expected by 2027, Adagio said in a release. The site will also benefit from the extension of the “Luxtram” tram system, scheduled for 2031. This will see the addition of a stop directly in front of Botanica, improving access to the city and airport.

Adagio’s new aparthotel will include 121 apartments designed with the company’s “Smart House” concept, offering a combined sleeping area and fully equipped kitchen. Guests will have access to shared spaces, such as a fitness center, self-service laundry and “The Circle,” a common area featuring a library of objects, a shop and a kids’ corner.

“The signing of our first establishment in Luxembourg is an important step for Adagio. It perfectly illustrates our ambition for growth in Europe and will integrate perfectly with Botanica. We are convinced that this new offer dedicated to medium and long stays will satisfy business and leisure demand by offering our future customers an innovative and environmentally friendly product. We are very proud of this first partnership with CODIC,” said Arthur Jaeger, Adagio’s chief development and real estate officer.

Sustainability is a central focus of the project, which aligns with Botanica’s eco-friendly ethos. The district features 53,000 square meters of office space, shops, restaurants, a nursery and a landscaped park spanning over two hectares. Botanica will also offer a green and sustainable environment, blending work, social life and well-being.

“We are delighted to welcome the Adagio brand to the Botanica development. We have designed Botanica as a welcoming and inspiring place where the surrounding nature and living spaces stimulate the creativity and efficiency of organizations,” said Vincent Beck, CEO of CODIC International. “The Adagio offer of 121 keys, unique in Luxembourg, fits perfectly into our concept and will offer a local accommodation service for all Botanica users.”

CODIC and Adagio were advised by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group and Hotel Expert Consulting.

Founded in 2007 in France as a joint venture between Accor and Pierre & Vacances Centre Parcs, Adagio has expanded its portfolio to currently consist of 129 sites and 14,733 apartments across 16 countries. Located in urban areas, the aparthotels are available under three brands — Adagio Original (in the heart of large cities), Adagio Access (in regional capitals or on the direct outskirts of large cities) and Adagio Premium (premium aparthotels).
