With travel booming across Europe — topping 747 million international arrivals in 2024 — Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is making a major move. The hospitality company is adding 25 new city hotels to its European portfolio, strengthening its presence in locations such as Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

The expansion is part of Wyndham’s long-standing partnership with HR Group. The newly added hotels will operate under the Trademark Collection and Vienna House Easy by Wyndham brands, offering travelers more accommodation options in key urban and business hubs.

“Europe’s travel industry is experiencing a remarkable upswing, with record numbers of visitors and business travellers in cities and regions, as well as increasing attendance at events,” said Dimitris Manikis, president EMEA at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. “Together with the HR Group, we are sending a strong signal of our presence in key markets with this expansion and creating even more attractive accommodation options in sought-after city destinations.”

The 25 hotels are strategically located near cultural landmarks, business districts and transportation hubs. Visitors can stay at the Fourside Hotel Salzburg, part of the Trademark Collection, while exploring Mozart’s birthplace, or enjoy a stay at Vienna House Easy Amsterdam, which is located near the airport.

The integration of the hotels into the portfolio of the Trademark Collection and Vienna House Easy by Wyndham marks a significant milestone, said Ruslan Husry, chairman and CEO of HR Group.

“By combining Wyndham’s global reach, advanced technology and renowned loyalty program with HR Group’s local expertise and extensive operational experience, we are creating frictionless travel experiences for business and leisure travelers,” Husry said.

Eight of the 25 hotels will join the Vienna House Easy by Wyndham brand, offering modern and affordable stays. The remaining properties will become part of the Trademark Collection, known for its individually designed hotels.

The expansion follows HR Group’s  acquisition of Centro Holding and Centro Hotel Management in 2024, marking another step in Wyndham’s European growth strategy.
