Experience Connector, a global provider of travel experiences and ticketing solutions owned by Attractions World Group, has unveiled its new strategic partnership with P&O Ferries.

P&O Ferries customers will now have access to a curated and expanded selection of in-destination activities and experiences both pre-departure and post-purchase.

In addition to pre-departure bookings, Experience Connector and P&O Ferries aim to introduce offerings that will enhance the travel experience during the ferry journey itself.

By utilising on-board digital platforms, customers will now be able to browse and book in-destination experiences while enroute.

To make the new offering possible the firms will launch a curated and fully optimised white label platform that integrates seamlessly with the P&O Ferries website.

Initially, this platform will focus on P&O Ferries’ most popular routes and destinations, providing a comprehensive array of tickets to attractions and experiences in The Netherlands, England, France, Ireland, and Scotland.

Olly Nicholls, group CEO of AWG, Experience Connector’s parent brand, said: “We are excited to partner with P&O Ferries to offer their customers a broader range of in-destination experiences. By integrating our extensive catalogue of attractions and tickets, we aim to enhance the customer journey, making it easier for travellers to discover and enjoy the best experiences at their destination – whether planning ahead or making spontaneous decisions while en-route.

This partnership is an industry first and adds significant value to P&O Ferries’ customer base. After all, people travel to experience, and the experiences sector is the biggest growth area and opportunity within the travel and tourism industry today.”

Charlie Bailey, head of indirect sales of P&O Ferries: “P&O Ferries are delighted to partner with Experience Connector to offer our customers a new range of experiences in our core destinations within UK & Europe.

“Our partnership with Experience Connector now provides our customers with a richer, end-to-end booking experience.

“We’re confident that we now offer some of the best experiences available in each travel destination, which we know is a high-growth sector in the industry.”

Both Experience Connector and P&O Ferries are committed to growing this partnership and expanding the range of experiences available to travellers.

In the future, the partnership will seek to maximise the offering of attractions and experiences across additional destinations and evolve with traveller preferences.

This announcement is said to be the beginning of an “exciting new chapter” for both Experience Connector and P&O Ferries, as they work together for “even more unforgettable experiences and hassle-free travel”.
