The TUI Group is continuing its global expansion with the launch of its 500ᵉ hotel project, the TUI Magic Life Agadir. This project is part of a wider ambition to increase its portfolio from 433 to 600 hotels in the medium term.
A major development in Morocco
This new all-inclusive resort marks TUI Magic Life’s entry into the Moroccan market, joining the group’s other brands already present in the region, such as TUI Blue and Robinson.
Located on the Atlantic coast, the resort will offer 427 rooms, three restaurants, four bars and three swimming pools, as well as a wide range of sports and entertainment activities.
With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an eight-kilometre beach, Agadir is an ideal destination for lovers of water sports and outdoor recreation.
A commitment to sustainability at the heart of the project
With sustainability a central pillar of TUI’s strategy, the resort will incorporate a number of eco-responsible technologies, including a photovoltaic system, a heat transfer device and a water purification station.
Bernd Mäser, Managing Director of TUI Hotels & Resorts, said:
‘This project strengthens our presence in Morocco by offering a unique all-inclusive experience. We are committed to integrating sustainable practices into all our new establishments, in order to minimise our environmental impact while offering quality services.’
Strong support from the Moroccan government
TUI’s investment in the region has been welcomed by the Moroccan authorities, who see it as an opportunity for economic development and job creation.
Imad Barrakad, CEO of the Moroccan Tourism Development Agency (SMIT), said:
‘The opening of TUI Magic Life Agadir illustrates Morocco’s growing appeal to hotel investors. This project will boost the tourism sector and strengthen the local infrastructure.’
Ambitious expansion for TUI Hotels & Resorts
TUI Hotels & Resorts currently operates 11 hotels in Morocco under its various brands, with more than 3,700 rooms. The group intends to continue its development in high-demand markets by focusing on customer experience and sustainable tourism.
With the opening of TUI Magic Life Agadir scheduled for 2027, TUI confirms its commitment to enriching its global hotel offering while supporting the development of responsible tourism.
