Angad Arts Hotel in St. Louis has joined Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, marking the city’s first property in the portfolio. The hotel, renamed named Angad Arts Hotel St. Louis, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, now offers Hilton Honors members access.

The 146-room hotel is owned by New + Found and designed by Lawrence Group. Schulte Hospitality Group is operating the property. The hotel is known—and will stay known—for allowing guests to book rooms based on color preference, with each hue linked to a specific emotion.

Joining the Tapestry Collection includes upgrades such as a redesigned 12th-floor check-in area, a fitness center refresh, and a new sundry shop featuring local and familiar items. Guest room technology and bathroom amenities have also been modernized.

“We are excited to partner with an iconic hospitality brand to bring Hilton Honors members a unique lodging option in St. Louis,” said Nikolaus Kern, general manager of Angad Arts Hotel. “Tapestry Collection aligns with our mission to support local creatives and offer guests an inspiring experience. The hotel’s rotating art exhibits and installations ensure that public spaces remain dynamic, encouraging guests to return for new discoveries.”

Steve Smith, founder and CEO of New + Found, added, “The Grand Center Arts District continues to evolve, and Angad Arts Hotel is proud to contribute to this momentum. With Powell Hall, The Fabulous Fox Theatre, and St. Louis Symphony nearby, the neighborhood is becoming an even more vibrant destination.”

The hotel features permanent and rotating art exhibits on the first floor, within its restaurant Commonwealth, and on the 12th floor. All displayed artwork is curated from local artists within 200 miles and is available for purchase online. Commonwealth serves elevated comfort fare, while ART Bar, located on the 13th floor, offers rooftop views of St. Louis.

Additional property enhancements include a restructured check-in experience with a new desk and system, creating a more immersive arrival for guests. Across from the check-in area, the sundry shop provides a curated selection of local and national brands.
