HOTEL EQUITIES’ NEW CDO AND VICE CHAIRMAN
Hotel Equities has announced the appointment of Greg O’Stean as its new chief development officer and the promotion of Joe Reardon to vice chairman.
O’Stean brings more than three decades of hospitality development, investment and strategy experience to the role, having held executive leadership positions with major hotel brands and investment firms. Most recently, he served as CEO of United Hospitality Management where he oversaw a global portfolio of hotels across Europe and the Middle East.
Joe Reardon, who has overseen Hotel Equities’ business development efforts for the past 11 years, will focus on strategic partnerships as the new vice chairman of the company.
LEADERSHIP TRANSITIONS AT PYRAMID GLOBAL
Eric Habermann, Pyramid Global Hospitality‘s chief operating officer, will retire this month after seven years with the company and a nearly 40-year career in hospitality. Habermann will be succeeded by Isaac Hicks, Pyramid Global’s current chief financial officer.
Habermann joined Pyramid Global in 2018 as the company’s chief accounting officer and became chief operating officer in 2019. “It has been an incredible journey and a true privilege to work alongside my talented and passionate colleagues at Pyramid Global,” he said. “I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished together and will reflect fondly on this chapter of my career. As I prepare to retire from the hospitality industry, I leave knowing our associates, owners and partners are in the most capable hands with Isaac, Judy, and the rest of our exceptional leadership team.”
Hicks takes on the COO role after six years with the company. Previously, he was senior vice president of business analytics and operational excellence and executive vice president of operations finance and analytics before being promoted to chief financial officer in 2022. Hicks has nearly 30 years in hospitality and his experience spans hourly and managerial positions at the property level to home office leadership.
RESOLUTE ROAD ADDS TO EXEC TEAM
Resolute Road Hospitality has added Doug Ableman as regional vice president of operations and Kent Duncan as vice president of revenue management to its leadership team.
With more than 15 years as a hotel general manager and previous experience as a regional director of operations with Western States Lodging and Management, Ableman’s experience spans diverse hotel brands, including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham and independent properties.
Duncan joins the team as vice president of revenue management after serving in the same role at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. for over three years. His hospitality career also includes a 12-year tenure with Marcus Hotels & Resorts and a 7-year tenure with Marriott International.

Rosewood Mandarina, located in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, has announced its leadership team in advance of its May 15th opening. The team will be led by managing director Juan Carlos Cardona Aquino, with the support of Edouard Grosmangin, regional vice president, Mexico and South America. The team also includes Tom Puntel as cluster director of sales and marketing; Felipe Tapia as director of food & beverage; Jose Vicente Mascaros as executive chef; Marcos Rodrigues as director of rooms; and Aristides Carrillo as spa director.
Schulte Hospitality Group has appointed Anne Fischer as its new chief marketing officer, who brings over 20 years of experience to her new role. Most recently, Fischer served as chief growth officer of Wingstop, overseeing marketing and digital strategies for more than 2,000 restaurants. Before Wingstop, she served as chief marketing and digital officer of Papa John’s International, Inc., one of the largest franchisors of restaurants in the world. Some of her other marketing and sales leadership roles include The Walt Disney Company and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
Wayfinder Waikiki has appointed Scott Kawasaki as director of sales & marketing, bringing more than 30 years of industry experience and local expertise to the boutique Honolulu property.
A native of Hawaii and graduate of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, Kawasaki has held leadership positions at local properties including The Royal Hawaiian and Renaissance Honolulu, where he spearheaded integrated sales and marketing strategies and supported new property openings.
Remington Hospitality has appointed Charlene Nigaglioni-Gang, GTP, CTE, as its new vice president of sales, Caribbean & Latin America (CALA). Nigaglioni has worked at NH Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Sonder Holdings Inc., and most recently, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, among others, and brings deep experience in revenue strategy, account development and global sales leadership to her new role.
The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail has announced the appointment of Tracy Stoltz as general manager. With over two decades of global hospitality experience, Stoltz’s experience serving as general manager of the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel and other leadership positions at renowned Hawaiian resorts, including The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort; Sheraton Waikiki; The Westin Maui Resort & Spa; The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas; and Sheraton Maui Resort.
The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel has appointed Sebastian Stutz as general manager. Before arriving at The Roosevelt, Stutz served as the general manager of the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. His current turn at The Roosevelt is, in fact, his second; Stutz previously spent six years at the property—first as director of food & beverage, then as hotel manager.
He also served as hotel manager of Hilton Riverside before his tenure in Las Vegas. Before that, he spent thirteen years with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, serving in managerial roles in food and beverage for properties in Atlanta, Miami and Montego Bay, Jamaica. He also held various leadership roles with Ritz-Carlton in Germany, Dubai, and the US.
