A-1 Hospitality breaks ground on AC Hotel in Kennewick, Wash.

A-1 Hospitality Group has broken ground on a new AC Hotels by Marriott property in Kennewick, Wash. The 163-room hotel will be located at the Three Rivers Convention Center and is owned by A-1 Three Rivers Hotel and will be managed by A-1 Hospitality Group.

The five-story property will include an indoor pool, fitness center, rooftop restaurant and bar, and six meeting rooms totaling 12,000 square feet. The space will accommodate up to 450 guests.

“We are thrilled to bring the AC Hotels brand to the Three Rivers Convention Center Campus as part of a dynamic public-private partnership,” said Taran Patel, Managing Principal, A-1 Hospitality Group. “This transformative project will serve as a catalyst for economic growth in our community. We are proud to collaborate with the city of Kennewick and Fowler General Construction to bring this vision to life.”

The AC Hotels brand is known for its European design and Spanish roots, offering an atmosphere of “artfully crafted local touches.” Features include the AC Lounge, which serves cocktails, local craft beer and a wine program. Tapas-style small bites round out the food options in what the company describes as a comfortable and elegant setting.

The AC Kitchen, open for breakfast daily, will serve items such as freshly sliced prosciutto, specialty cheeses and croissants imported from France.

A-1 Hospitality Group is a family owned and operated hotel management and development company based in Kennewick. Its current portfolio includes 20 hotels across five states.
