Scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2028, the development will add over 350 rooms to IHG’s portfolio in the capital.
The voco London – Waterloo will offer 182 rooms and will become part of IHG’s growing premium voco brand, known for its distinct and thoughtful hotel experiences. The Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo, which will be the first of its kind in Europe, will offer 172 rooms and suites. This property will be part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle collection, emphasizing the local neighborhood’s unique character for a boutique-style stay.
Both properties will share amenities, including restaurants, bars, cafés, a gym, and a business center, catering to both business and leisure guests. Located in a culturally rich area, the hotels will be close to iconic attractions such as the Southbank, London Eye, and the Imperial War Museum, with easy access to Waterloo Station and other parts of London.
IHG Hotels & Resorts continues to grow in the UK with recent openings like voco Zeal Exeter Science Park and – voco London – Marylebone.

Sustainability is also a key focus for the development, with the project targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. The building will incorporate energy-efficient technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Panels to ensure operations are supported by renewable energy.
