Nestled in the picturesque Garden District of New Orleans, The Garden District Hotel is officially open to welcome travelers and locals to refined havens steeped in Southern charm. After debuting in June 2025, the hotel sets a new standard for boutique hospitality in the city’s most storied neighborhood with distinct and vibrant personality, exceptional design that honors the historic surroundings, and alluring spaces for guests and locals to gather. Mere steps from a bustling arts scene, local shops, the scenic riverfront, iconic St. Charles Avenue and a vintage streetcar line that provides access to every corner of town, guests will be immersed in the city’s rich culture and lively spirit for a quintessential New Orleans experience.

A fresh, design-forward take on Southern hospitality tucked beneath the oaks, The Garden District Hotel heralds a new era of modern luxury where rich history and grandeur intertwine. Designed by Jeannine Jacob Interiors, the interiors channel tropical ease and elegance with moody corners, and open-air courtyards. Each of the 47 retreat-like guestrooms feature rich textures, elevated finishes, and plenty of the signature New Orleans soul, transporting guests to an age of timeless charm inspired by the city’s majestic, centuries-old residences. The District Suite, the hotel’s most expansive accommodation, is a two-level hideaway boasting vaulted ceilings, a secondary loft living room, and an expansive layout for guests to unwind in style. Select rooms such as the Deluxe Loft Queen offer a private balcony overlooking oak-lined streets and historic buildings, perfect for soaking in the Garden District.

Refined entertainment awaits at the property’s heated saltwater pool, a social centerpiece that is home to New Orleans’ only swim-up bar. Visitors can sip tropical cocktails and savor bites from a curated menu or enhance their day with lawn games and recurring events. Additionally, with stylish cabanas underway to adorn the pool grounds, guests can anticipate a lively yet sophisticated atmosphere that allows for play and relaxation.

Tucked just off the lobby, the Garden Bar offers botanical cocktails, a curated wine list, and a breezy energy in a verdant setting. The bar itself is intimate but seamlessly transitions into the lounge accompanied by soft furnishings and quiet corners for thoughtful conversations. Guests can appreciate the bar’s inviting ambiance complete with leather seating, golden hues, and exposed brick for local flair.

Wellbeing is also part of the atmosphere at The Garden District Hotel. Guests looking to continue their wellness routine on property can enjoy weekly poolside yoga sessions or seasonal movement sessions in the courtyard, along with a full-service fitness center featuring cardio equipment, free weights, and strength-training machines.
