Vandelay Hospitality Group plans to open its ninth Hudson House Aug. 6 in Frisco, Texas, the company said this week.
Vandelay said the opening will mark the ninth location for the East Coast-inspired restaurant, and the seventh for the concept in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Hudson House has locations in Fort Worth and Houston. The original Hudson House opened in 2017 in Highland Park, Texas.
“Frisco has been on our radar for a long time,” Hunter Pond, founder and CEO of Vandelay, said in a statement. “It’s a dynamic, fast-growing community that values quality and experience, which aligns perfectly with what we aim to deliver at Hudson House.”
Hudson House has become known for its signature cheeseburger, fresh oysters, and “World’s Coldest Martini.”
The atmosphere will feature leather booths, a wraparound bar, an outdoor patio, and a sit-down raw bar.
Popular menu items include: Hudson’s Avocado Dip, made with whipped avocado, green onion, herbs, and ranch chips; chicken parmigiano with tomato pasta and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese; and an American Tuna Tower with ahi tuna, mashed avocado, English cucumber, mixed local greens and radishes, sesame seeds, drizzled with wasabi vinaigrette.
Vandelay Hospitality has 21 restaurants, including Drake’s Hollywood, D.L. Mack’s, Jack & Harry’s, Brentwood, Anchor Sushi Bar, Slider & Blues, and Bar Sardine.
