PM Hotel Group has announced the launch of RESET Hotel near Joshua Tree National Park, which PM calls “the first new-build hotel in the area in 15 years.” The property becomes the latest addition to PM Hotel Group’s Modus Hotels division, which focuses on lifestyle and unconventional hospitality.
“RESET Hotel embodies our vision for experiential travel, where sustainable design meets authentic connection to our country’s most inspiring landscapes,” said Paul Sacco, chief growth and development officer at PM Hotel Group. “From national parks to emerging destinations, PM Hotel Group is operating experiential lifestyle hotels coast to coast. With Reset, Ben Uyeda, Adam Wininger, Shannon Ching and Sumeet Parekh have created a model for community-focused hospitality that celebrates the beauty and accessibility of America’s outdoors.”
Located on 180 acres in Twentynine Palms, RESET features 65 rooms created to encourage rest and a connection with the surrounding desert. Guests have access to private patios, soaking tubs, Flamingo Estate bath products, Fellow pour-over coffee and sustainable linens. Facilities include a saltwater pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, yoga classes and communal spaces for co-working and stargazing. Over 100 acres of preserved land offer art installations and self-guided trails for visitors to explore.
The hotel’s restaurant, Split Rock Bistro, is scheduled to open in early 2026. It will provide all-day food and beverage service with seasonal options and locally influenced dishes.
The opening of RESET reflects PM Hotel Group’s strategy to manage design-focused hotels in new markets and to grow its portfolio of destinations centered on community engagement.
