Radisson Hotels has been named the official hotel partner of Co-op Live, the UK’s largest live entertainment arena in Manchester.
The partnership links the hospitality chain with the venue, which opened in May 2024 and has since attracted more than one million visitors. Acts including Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen and Tyler the Creator have already appeared, with Lady Gaga and Ed Sheeran due to perform later this year.
The tie-up comes as Radisson prepares to open a new Radisson Blu hotel on the Etihad Campus in 2026. The 401-room site forms part of Manchester City Football Club’s North Stand expansion project and is expected to create jobs and generate economic benefits for the area.
Co-op Live was also awarded “Highly Commended” status under the A Greener Future certification scheme, which recognises sustainability standards across live events.
Cristina Serra, global senior vice-president for brand and experience at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “Co-op Live represents the future of live entertainment in the UK, and we are delighted to be the official hotel partner. This partnership not only connects our brand to unforgettable music experiences but also creates direct value for our guests, members and partners.”
Guy Dunstan, senior vice-president and general manager at Co-op Live, added: “This collaboration brings together two brands committed to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. With Radisson’s reputation for excellence in hospitality and our vision as the UK’s premier live entertainment venue, we’re excited to offer fans and visitors a world-class experience inside and beyond the arena.”
Manchester is the UK’s second-largest live music economy, and the companies said the partnership would strengthen the city’s position as a global hub for culture and entertainment.
